Alumni are warmly invited to a special Worldwide Alumni Celebration (WAC) in Mumbai on Thursday 20 October, to celebrate the incredible London Business School community and the huge success of The Campaign for London Business School.

The Campaign:
At WAC 2013, we launched the School’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign. Thanks to the incredible support from the LBS community, the Campaign closed having raised £125 million in just three years, as well as over 124,000 volunteer hours.

Mumbai event:
The evening will be hosted by our Dean, Sir Andrew Likierman, as part of his thank-you tour to the seven cities where our Campaign was launched in 2013, and our Governing Body and Campaign Chairman, The Hon Apurv Bagri.

Sir Andrew will give a keynote presentation about his fascinating research on the importance of judgement in leadership:

Judgement
Good judgement is seen as a key quality of a leader. Yet it is difficult to identify and therefore to improve. Andrew has been undertaking some pathbreaking work on the how leaders can develop their own judgement, improve it for members of their management teams and recognise it when hiring for key posts. He will be giving his results so far and inviting a discussion about the role of judgement in an Indian context in contrast to the way it is seen in the US and Europe.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Mumbai Alumni Club. Tickets are £20 for alumni, £25 for guests.
